A Little About Me
Hi, my name is Seánagh (pronounced like Shauna). I am 26 years old and I’ve been interested in baking since I was a child. I started my business ten years ago in 2015 as my Transition Year mini company.
I found that I loved running my own business so much that I decided to leave school when I was in sixth year to pursue my baking business full time. I’ve always wanted to be my own boss so I just went for it and I've never looked back!
I am completely self-taught and when I was in school I used to practice baking and decorating on the weekends. I have developed my skills over the last 10 years of running my business through a lot of trial and error.
When I first started my business I only made cupcakes, the thought of making cakes was so daunting at that time!
As time went on, more and more of my customers were asking me to offer cakes and in summer of 2019 I finally took that leap! My business has grown so much beyond anything I ever dreamed of between then and now.
I’ve grown my loyal customer base through Instagram and Facebook, posting photos of cakes and cupcakes I make everyday.
I’m very lucky that my customers give me a lot of repeat business, give me the most lovely feedback and recommend me to their family and friends.
I’m so grateful that my dream of running my own baking business became a reality for me 10 years ago!
I love that I get to be creative while working in my kitchen to make cakes and cupcakes that are a part of my customers’ special occasions.
It's lovely that my customers trust me to handle such an important part of their special day. From Christenings, to Birthdays, and even Weddings!
